The Nationally Recognized Sculptor, Daniel Borup, grew up in the small town of Meridian, Idaho, where he learned to love art from his older siblings. Daniel’s passion for art only grew when he went to college. This is where Daniel was introduced to figure sculpting. He instantly fell in love with sculpting and hasn’t put down his sculpting tools since. Years of work and development has awarded Daniel with honors and awards as well as the honor of creating public art sculptures for various locations throughout the country.

We had the honor of interviewing Carlo Russo, a Philadelphia based oil painter and instructor. Carlo graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2004 where he focused his studies in the methods and practices of traditional realism. While known primarily for his mastery in still life painting, he is accomplished in figurative and landscape painting as well. We had the pleasure to interview Warren Chang today, a California based Fine Artist, best known for his paintings depicting the fieldworkers of Monterey County. His realist paintings are reminiscent of 19th century painters, in particular Francois Millet (1814-1875) who also depicted scenes of peasant farmers in rural France. Chang's paintings depict subtle narratives that celebrate the human spirit. He will be teaching a 3 day portrait painting workshop at our studio in January and we couldn’t be more excited to have him!
