Workshop Description
Join us for a two-hour, hands-on poster design workshop exploring Salt Lake City through collage, texture, and typography—no screens required. Using paper, stencils, adhesive, and found materials, you’ll create an 11×17 SLC-inspired poster while learning foundational design principles like composition, hierarchy, and visual storytelling. This workshop is intentionally analog (no screens), beginner-friendly, and focused on process over perfection. Come prepared with an idea, a cause, or a thought about Salt Lake City and leave with a finished piece you’re proud to display.
Materials provided. Additional found materials (i.e. old newspapers, magazines, printed materials, etc.) encouraged to bring as well.
