Workshop Description

Take the gorgeous smell and feel of leather home with you to enjoy everyday in these strikingly artistic refillable artisan journals!

Join us for an incredibly fun time sewing, punching and crafting these leather books. They’re filled with 192 pages of paper for your journaling or sketching enjoyment, including 16 pages of beautiful scrapbook papers interleaved.

Attendees will learn the long stitch binding method with this journal and can choose between blank, lined, or 5mm dot off white 60lb paper, a soft leather cover in rustic brown or a variety of vibrant colors, and matching scrap.

We will tear the edges for the old fashioned deckled style edge. After tearing, we will fold, punch, and stitch our papers into pre-punched leather.

At the end of the class embellishments can be added including a jewelry charm, antiquing ink spray available for aging the pages (VERY fun!!), our adventure/travel themed stamps will be available to use as well. Every attendee will go home with an extremely unique and personalized journal.

All paper is acid free and leather is genuine 100% rustic cowhide for quality that you can refill and reuse again and again!
