Workshop description

This summer come travel the globe in this unique kids art camp. With international artist and educator, Jill Saxton Smith, we will explore traditional art techniques of 6 different cultures and create our own kid take on it. This camp is aimed at fostering cultural awareness, collaboration, creative thinking and expression that includes hands-on experiences in a variety of mediums and techniques. All supplies and a snack will be provided, please bring a water bottle.

In this class we will explore one of the oldest methods of printmaking still used in India today. We will print our own colorful patterns using the hand block printing method to make cool tote bags.
