Workshop Description
Discover the art of Hand Bookbinding by creating your own French Link Stitch book. This workshop introduces a historic binding known for its beautifully braided-look exposed thread, durability, and lay-flat design.
You will learn to fold and pierce signatures, use a punching template, and sew a multi-signature text block with waxed linen thread. Decorative cover papers are provided with blank or lined 60 lb interior paper pages for the text block.
While this class is beginner-friendly, bookbinding is technical and needs some hand strength. Prior paper or stitching experience is also helpful. All materials will be provided.
