Workshop Description
This is NOT just for architectural buffs! This is incredibly important for all types of artists.
Whether you are drawing and painting landscapes with barns or buildings, streetscapes, roads with fences and light poles, or interior scenes, knowing the proper techniques of perspective makes your work even more believable and accurate. It’s everywhere! Let’s learn to identify it, control it, and apply it in simple ways. Furniture and windows and floors inside a room all rely on accurate knowledge of perspective, as do products and objects in stacks and on shelves.
Basically put, anything in real life that is 3-Dimensional involves some form of perspective.
A well thought out artwork with accurate perspective feels comfortable and natural, while one with poor perspective waves its hands at the viewer and screams “I’m wrong!” In a fun and informative 3-hour Workshop we will develop a strong understanding of the facts and will practice new skills that you will use for the rest of your art career!
Chris Maggio, Architectural Renderer and Product Designer, will lead you through some fun easy steps and projects that are sure to make you comfortable with Perspective.
