Workshop Description
Hi everyone!
The workshop begins with a guided tour of Sugar House Distillery, for an immersive journey into the world of whiskey. You'll learn the story behind the distillery while exploring the distillation process from Utah-grown grain to glass. Then you'll enjoy a private tasting of a curated whiskey flight, where you'll identify the unique aromas and flavors in each pour and discover what you like most.
While enjoying the Sugar House spirits, you'll create a handmade shot glass and sipping cup ceramic set. You'll learn the essential foundations of slab handbuilding, from shaping clay and joining pieces to building texture with rollers and stamps.
Finish with your own unique drinking set, the perfect pairing for a bottle of Sugar House whiskey. We'll fire your pieces after the workshop so they're ready just in time for the holiday gift-giving season.

The tasting portion is optional, but even if you aren’t drinking, you still need a valid ID to attend. If you'd prefer to skip the alcohol, you're still welcome to attend.
