Workshop Description
Step into the vibrant, pattern-filled world of Rex Ray in this dynamic 4-hour collage workshop.
Known for his bold use of color, layered textures, and rhythmic compositions influenced by Pop Art, Op Art, and Mid-century modern design, Rex Ray’s work will serve as your inspiration as you explore your own creative voice.
You’ll begin by creating your own custom collage papers through painting and mark-making, then use those handmade materials to build a finished composition “alla Rex Ray.” Along the way, you’ll experiment with color, pattern, shape, and layering to create a piece full of movement and personality.
This workshop is perfect for all levels and offers a balance of guidance and creative freedom—leaving you with a finished artwork and a fresh approach to collage.
