Workshop Description
This is not just another art class—it’s the missing piece that can transform your work.
Many artists develop creativity, materials, and technique—but the fourth leg, the academics of a picture, is what makes art truly powerful. In this intensive five-hour workshop, you’ll dive into a crash course on the Three C’s: Composition, Color, and Contrast—learning how to move from instinct to intention.
This highly interactive experience combines guided painting sessions with rich slideshow examples, helping you clearly see and apply what makes an artwork successful. You’ll create your own deck of reference cards—filled with color schemes, compositional formats, and contrast ideas—giving you a powerful tool to use throughout your entire art practice.
This is where things finally start to click.
